In 1975,
the Family Rataud acquired a parcel
of land in the nudist area of Octon.
Everything needed to be done,
the site having been abandoned
since the last war.
The hamlet of Ricazouls,
which dates from the XVI Cent. was in ruins.
The dolmen (pre-historic tombs), the springs, the aqueducts
proved that man had always lived there…
then why not us ?

Situated under the Larzac, the lake of Salagou,
with its 800 hectares,
has revived this region of the Haut Pays d`Oc.
The stream of the Bosc and its little valley create in miniature
the topography of the region.

The basaltic plain of Carols, more than a million years old,
with its 400 metres,
dominates the centre and protects it.
The springs allows a ring of greenery to grow and surround us,
a contrast with the red soil containing iron oxide.
The `ruffes` have been sited here for more than 250 million years,
the thickness of which can be as much as 3 kilometers.
The Village du Bosc sits at an altitude of 200 metres.
