TOURISM

Our region is known as `Entre Deux Mers`, which is a famous wine-growing area between the rivers Garonne and Dordogne.
The undulating countryside consists purely of vineyards, woods and fields.

Local outings are studded with churches, abbeys, mediaeval châteaux, villages dating back to the Middle Ages and walled towns ( bastides ).

The cycle track which runs to Bordeaux is 2 kilometers distant. The use of the former railway track is available to all.

Wine lovers can visit the numerous wine châteaux to sample
Bordeaux reds,
the whites of Entre-Deux-Mers,
the sparkling wines of Loupiac
or those of Sauternes.

St. Emilion, a mediaeval village of charm
is only 20 kilometers away.

Its monolithic church completely hollowed
out of the cliff and the Chapelle de la Trinité together form a unique example
of the Troglodite tradition.

Bordeaux with its museums and
its unique architectural heritage
of the XVIII Cent. Is 50 k. distant.
