In 1980,

the family Toutain bought an old deserted farm in Périgord, restored and equipped it as a naturist holiday centre.

This former sharecropping farm,
built before the French Revolution
has witnessed the passing of generations
of Périgordian farmers.

The walls have remained impregnated
with the local traditions
and the rude life of the yokels of Périgord.

Situated in the heart of the forest Barade,
the favourite haunt of Jacquou le Croquant,
between Périgord Blanc and Périgord Noir,

Laulurie is ideally situated for access
to numerous tourist sites.

The seven hectares of grassland
are entirely surrounded by woods of pine,
guaranteeing tranquillity and pure air.
The full compliment of visitors
has been voluntarily restricted to 56 families
in order to preserve the family atmosphere.
